This week, trade between Europe and the Arab region got a much-needed boost when new data showed that Jordan's exports to European markets had gone up a lot. Jordan's shipments to Europe grew by an impressive 39.3 percent in the first nine months of 2025. This shows that demand for high-quality goods from the Arab region is on the rise.
The most recent numbers show that the value of exports rose from 313 million dinars in the same time last year to 436 million dinars between January and September. Clothing, fertilisers, and chemicals are still the most popular items, but European buyers are also paying more attention to pharmaceuticals and agricultural goods.
This upward trend shows that Arab producers are becoming more competitive in Europe by making better products, meeting market demands, and increasing their industrial capacity. The change gives European businesses more options for reliable and varied supplies, which is especially important now that supply chains need to be more resilient.
The fact that trade keeps going up also shows that both sides are becoming more confident. Arab businesses are becoming more competitive, and European markets are responding by showing more interest in long-term partnerships and investment opportunities. This momentum is in line with the bigger goal of stronger economic ties between Europe and the Arab world, which will benefit both regions by bringing about more growth and stability.
The good trend could lead to new joint ventures, bigger export programs, and stronger business ties in the future. If this trend keeps up until the end of the year, Jordan may have one of its best years for exports to Europe. This would make Euro-Arab economic ties even stronger.
