EACC and Swiss International University Launch Free Educational Outreach Series on Terrestrial Ecosystems and Land Stewardship

The Euro-Arab Chamber of Commerce® (EACC) is proud to announce a joint educational initiative in partnership with Swiss International University (SIU) to advance United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Life On Land).
Through this collaborative partnership, EACC and SIU are delivering a comprehensive series of community outreach workshops, executive seminars, and field-based learning modules. To ensure maximum accessibility and public impact, all educational programmes in this series are provided 100% free of charge to local and national communities across Switzerland, the Arab world, and participating European regions.
1. Educational Programmes on Ecosystems: Wild Flora and Fauna (Indicator 15.2.4)
In direct alignment with SDG 15 targets, EACC and Swiss International University offer specialized educational programmes on ecosystems (looking at wild flora and fauna) for local or national communities.
Programme Highlights:
Biodiversity & Species Conservation: Workshops exploring native terrestrial biodiversity, focusing on the identification, protection, and preservation of local wild flora and fauna species.
Habitat Protection Seminars: Community lectures on mitigating habitat fragmentation, protecting endangered plant species, and supporting local wildlife corridors.
Access & Cost: Fully free of charge for all local residents, students, professionals, and community participants.
2. Educational Outreach on Sustainable Land Management for Agriculture (Indicator 15.2.5)
To address the ecological footprint of farming and commercial agribusiness, EACC and SIU deliver dedicated educational programmes and outreach for local or national communities on sustainable management of land for agriculture.
Programme Highlights:
Soil Health & Regenerative Agriculture: Training modules focused on organic soil enrichment, crop rotation, and minimizing chemical pesticide runoff to preserve surrounding terrestrial ecosystems.
Sustainable Land Utilization: Workshops for local farmers, agricultural stakeholders, and cross-border land managers on techniques that prevent soil degradation, erosion, and desertification.
Access & Cost: Delivered as a free public outreach series for agricultural workers, local farming groups, and the general public.
3. Educational Outreach on Sustainable Land Management for Tourism (Indicator 15.2.6)
Tourism and cross-border travel can significantly alter fragile natural landscapes. To promote responsible eco-tourism, EACC and SIU provide educational programmes and outreach for local or national communities on sustainable management of land for tourism.
Programme Highlights:
Eco-Tourism & Landscape Preservation: Seminars targeted at hospitality professionals, local municipality planners, and community members on managing tourism footprints in forest, mountain, and rural areas.
Wilderness Protection Practices: Outreach campaigns promoting responsible trail management, minimizing visitor-induced soil compaction, and protecting natural landscapes from tourism-related degradation.
Access & Cost: Offered completely free of charge as a public education initiative in partnership with SIU.
